ChatSabi — account and data deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of your ChatSabi account and what happens to your data. You can complete deletion yourself when signed in, or contact support if you need help.
How to delete your account
- In the ChatSabi app or website: sign in, open Settings, scroll to Delete account, and confirm deletion.
- On this page (web): sign in using the header, then use the button below to delete your account immediately.
- By email: send a deletion request from your registered email address to support@chatsabi.com. We will verify your identity and complete deletion within 30 days.
Processing time: In-app and web deletion is processed immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days.
Data that is deleted
- Your ChatSabi user profile (name, email, authentication record)
- Chat conversations, messages, and titles
- Uploaded files and document attachments used in chat
- Meeting notes, transcriptions, and app session history
- Connected integrations (email, calendar, spreadsheets) and their stored tokens
- Watchlists, code projects, and other saved in-app content tied to your account
- Local chat cache on your device (cleared when you sign out or delete your account)
Data that may be kept
- Billing records (if applicable): retained as required by tax and accounting law, typically up to 7 years.
- Security and abuse logs: anonymised or minimal server logs may be retained for up to 90 days to prevent fraud and protect the service.
- Backups: encrypted backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days before automatic purging.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. After deletion, the same email can be used to create a new account, but previous data will not be restored.
Delete now (signed-in users)
Sign in using the button in the header, then return here to delete your account. You can also email support@chatsabi.com without signing in.
